Frequently Asked Questions
What is “soft washing?”
“Soft washing” refers to the modern industry standard that combines use of high volume water flow with detergents to replace mere high pressure alone to clean exterior surfaces. Using too much pressure can damage things like wood, brick, and siding not to mention it could force water into places it does not need to be- inside your home or business! Soft washing also eliminates the need for ladders and scaffolding. The water flow and detergent dispersed through an extendable wand from the ground also means soft washing is much safer.
Do you use bleach?
Sometimes, but not always. When we do use bleach, we use it safely and sparingly. The reality is that when used correctly and safely, bleach really is a great cleaning tool. People use bleach all the time in their homes to brighten surfaces and kill organic growth like mold or bacteria. The same idea applies to your outside surfaces, too. Just as you are careful with bleach inside your home, we are careful with it outside your home so it will not harm your plants or pets. Using the right combination of bleach and detergents can really enhance the outcome of a cleaning and allow us to use less pressure which will keep your surfaces from getting etched or scored from pressurized water streams.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are incorporated in Arkansas as well as registered with the IRS. We also carry a liability insurance policy that covers both residential and commercial customers. We have coverage for general liability, worker’s comp, and commercial auto. No “fly-by-night” operation here.
Why don’t you give residential estimates?
The answer comes down to cost savings. We do not give residential estimates because we know what goes into washing residential surfaces and offer flat-rate pricing. By avoiding the expenses associated with driving around town to give estimates, we can keep our costs lower and pass the savings on to our customers.
Do I have to be home when you come to do the work?
There is no requirement that you be home when we arrive to do the work. We just ask that you leave gates unlocked as needed and keep pets inside. Also, we require pre-payment if nobody is going to be home when we arrive. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.
